Refund Policy

The Rex Files Cattery maintains a strict, transparent, and professional refund policy designed to protect both the Buyer and the integrity of our breeding program.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable. A deposit secures the kitten and removes it from availability.

Final Payment

Full payment is required prior to or at the time of pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Health Guarantee Exception

A refund may only be issued under the terms outlined in the signed contract:

• Death occurring within the first one (1) year of life

• Cause of death must be confirmed as a congenital or hereditary defect

• Documentation from a licensed veterinarian is required

• Seller reserves the right to request additional verification

Refunds under this clause are limited strictly to the original purchase price of the kitten and do not include veterinary costs or additional expenses.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

• Change of mind

• Allergies

• Personality or behavioral preferences

• Household or lifestyle changes

• Housing restrictions or landlord issues

• Any condition not directly related to a congenital defect

Returns & Rehoming

If a Buyer is unable to keep the cat, they must follow the Lifetime Return Policy outlined in the contract. No refunds will be provided in these cases.
